I went on a two day trip to Charlotte! Wow! I first saw this sick Porsche 997 GT3 on South Blvd, a couple cars ahead of us. My dad kindly sped up and eventually got behind it, and we followed it to the Lowe’s off of Iverson Way. The nice owner let me take some pics, and then we were on our way! These are definitely quite rare so I was happy to find one. Also saw a Lexus LC500 and a Bentley Bentayga in the process of chasing this! Also this is my 125th spot!

Awesome spot Bo! I have yet to spot one of these beauties although I did find a 997 GT2 RS once. Excellent narrative as well. Good to hear your dad followed it and it ended up parking nearby. Congrats on #125 posts as well ?

Thanks Johnathan! I saw a 997 GT3 on the highway last month, but besides that I can’t think of any time else I have seen a 997 GT3 or GT2 on the road. Pretty excited to be at 125 spots!

Sweet find, Bo! This generation of GT3 does look great. I managed to see two 992 GT3’s yesterday.

Great spot! This one also appears to be a GT3 with the Sharkwerks 4.0 conversion where the 3.6 original engine is bored out to 4.0.
