Spotted this Elise parked in some small lot off of Glenwood Ave at the edge of downtown Raleigh several years ago. I think this is the right category for this particular model but I'm not sure. I have seen this once or twice since, but have not been able to get better pics of it.

I really like these angles. I always love seeing Lotus cars. They're nice.

@ NCspotter. Nick excellent angles here. It's hard to choose a number 1.

@NCspotter Hi Nick. I know that you stated in the past that Lotus was your favorite car brand. What are your favorite models from this legendary car company? Better yet, which one would you want to drive first? How was your weekend? I had a descent two days but still no Performante lol. I have three contenders for my 100th Huracan post. I think I will hold off my decision for a little while a least for a week or so. I really need to post some older spots from my files. I hope your week goes well for you brother!

@Horse-Power the Elise has always been one of my favorite Lotuses because it was one of the first exotic cars I remember seeing in person. I also really like the new Evora 400, and I think the company has a great car on their hands, but nobody really seems to know about it. Given the choice between an Evora 400, 718 Cayman, and Corvette, I'd rather have the Lotus. I think the Esprits are really cool, but I'd feel a little hesitant driving one regularly because they're kind of pieced together from a bunch of other cars. I remember hearing that the transmissions in the twin-turbo V8 models couldn't withstand the power and torque from the V8, and hard acceleration in the lower gears could blow up the transmissions. With the Elise (and Elise-based Exige) and Evora/S/400, the engines are sourced from Toyota and seem to be pretty reliable. I did see an Elise at Whole Foods last week, and I'll try to post it up soon. Have you seen any Lotuses lately? I'd sure love to see you share a few of its cars on here! Anyway, sounds like you've seen some cool cars lately, and I can't wait to see Huracan #100! Hopefully your continued patience will pay off and you'll spot a Performante this week! I'll be in a nice part of Raleigh tomorrow evening, so I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for anything cool, and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter Hi Nick I will be looking forward to your next post brother! I wish I had a Lotus spot in my files, but sadly I do not. Good luck hitting the streets in Raleigh. Talk with you soon.
