Nice pictures once again! Could you explain me what settings you use on your camera? I read previously that you use 'Aperture Priority Mode' right? Is that a default option in the settings of your camera or is it a bit more complicated? Sorry for the question overload but I'm curious as I have a similar camera (D7000) and exactly the same Nikkor 50 mm F1.8 lens but I find my pictures to be inferior to these by a long shot! @Aventarari

@LucasH Thanks man! On the D7000, there should be a knob on the top of the camera (left side). This knob should have Auto, Scene, U1, U2, M, A, S, and P on it. You want to turn that knob to "A", which is aperture priority mode. You then crank the aperture all the way down, as low as possible, which should be 1.8. That should do the trick. It's good to always have your camera in that mode, unless manual mode is needed. Basically, the lower the aperture, the better depth of field there is.

@Aventarari Thanks a lot! I switched the knob on the top left side to A now as you suggested, and will definitely start using this from now on with the F1.8 aperture. Thanks again for your response, helps me out a lot to keep improving my photos :)
