Was wondering what the heck happened to this one. I spotted this one back in 2013 in Greenwich, Connecticut. It didn't get SOTD because the U.S. was one spot short of having a voting competition:

Quite a long road trip; great spotting West! @Rivitography Jason have you by chance ever seen a red Jaguar E-Type convertible up in CT? I spotted one down here in NC a while back when I was driving back from Charlotte to Raleigh, and it had a CT plate (was some sort of special place that read 1Z-295).

@NCspotter It is called an Early American plate, which is an option given to vehicles registered in Connecticut that are 20+ years old. It also gives people huge property tax breaks so they only have to pay $500.00 for their car at tax time. (thus you see beat-up clunkers driving around with those plates on a daily basis). Even though I am keeping a register of all cars with a CT Early American/Classic Vehicle plate on it, I sadly still haven't seen 1Z 295 yet. Hopefully I see it soon.

@Rivitography understood. I will try to post some pics of it on here soon! Down here in NC we have "Classic Car" plates, but that means the cars can only be driven to and from shows/events, otherwise they won't be covered by insurance in the event of an accident. So it's very hard to spot good classics here.

Stunning lighting in those first few shots West! Great find! Even though it’s right across the street from Bal Harbour, I unfortunately never had the chance to check out St Regis, since we were in a hurry to get groceries for the condo before meeting our AirBnB host. It was crazy how much time I took to do all that lol. I spent my time checking out Bal Hal Harbour, but I’ll say that first day was really something to remember. I was glad I got lucky seeing those amazing cars at Bal Harbour and the cars on that evening run. Next time I come down, I definitely would like to check out some other areas @Horse-Power
